Wohlfert Distillery

They say you can’t escape your past and clearly, alcohol was in our blood on both sides of the family. So in 2018, like our ancestors before us, we became distillers and are creating our own “spirited” history. Our distillery is our dream that took 8 years to realize. Karen started developing recipes years ago and I started looking at stills. We invite you to come experience with us what we have been working on. We offer free tastings every Saturday and Sunday from noon to 6 pm, plus most long-weekend holidays. You can also buy our product online and have it shipped right to your door. Most of our products are all made with corn mash. If you are concerned about gluten, in your alcohol, you probably stay away from most whiskeys because the mashes include wheat, barley, or rye.  You probably already know plain rum and tequilas are gluten-free.  Ask which of our products are made with corn, and sugar cane and are gluten-free!  Watch your mixers for gluten!
